Biographical summary יצחק זוהר-פורר נולד ב-1906 בבוקובינה להורים שניספו בטרנסניסטריה. השם 'זוהר' מהווה שם נרדף לכל בני ובנות משפחות פורר יותר ממאתיים שנה שכן ראשוני המשפחה העניפה הזו היו מקובלים כאנשי זוהר. למד תורה אצל הרב משה חיים לאו שניספה בשואה. המחבר היה חבר השומר הצעיר, למד בצרפת לימודים אקדמאיים ואף התגורר שם. כתב מחזות ביידיש ובעברית. נקבר בחולון 1985.
