Biographical summary יוסל ברגנר (נולד בוינה 1920) צייר, מאייר ספרים, צייר תפאורות ומעצב תלבושות לתיאטרון ישראלי, בעיקר עבור הצגותיו של המחזאי ניסים אלוני. אביו היה המשורר מלך ראוויטש. כשהיה בן שבע-עשרה היגרו הוריו לאוסטרליה. לאחר שרותו הצבאי בצבא האוסטרלי הקים ברגנר, יחד עם חברו בירשטיין, קבוצה של ציירים שעסקו בציור ריאליסטי-חברתי. ברגנר עלה לארץ בשנת 1950 יחד עם אשתו הציירת, אודרי ברגנר והם קבעו את משכנם בצפת. משנת 1957 ברגנר חי ויוצר בתל אביב.
Ownership history הופקד בספרייה לצמיתות על ידי יוסל ברגנר, ינואר 1996.
