Biographical summary הרב ד"ר אברהם יצחק בלייכרודה היה נינו של רבי עקיבא איגר. הוא נולד בשנת 1867 בגרמניה והוסמך שם לרבנות, במקביל ללימודי חול. היה רב קהילת "אהבת רעים" בעיר ברלין, ומורה. מבין תלמידיו נודע במיוחד פרופ' גרשום שלום. הרב ד"ר בלייכרודה נפטר בירושלים, בשנת 1954.
Ownership history האוסף הופקד לצמיתות בספרייה הלאומית על ידי פרופ' קרל פרנקנשטיין בשנת 1966.
