Biographical summary |
Joseph and Haim Amzalak were among the leading figures of the Jewish settlement in Eretz Israel of the 19th century, being involved in banking. Both were British citizens and held a number of positions as trade representatives. Also James, who was born to a later generation, kept holding an outstanding position and was active in the British overseas club in the early 20th century. |
