Biographical summary Rukhl Fishman (Philadelphia 10.6.1935-Kibbutz Beit Alpha? 26.8.1984), Yiddish poet. Born to a Yiddish-speaking secular family, she grew up in Philadelphia, Los Angeles (1949-1953) and New York, where she met Theodor Holdheim, whom she married in 1954. In 1978 won the Itzik Manger Prize.
