The archive includes includes sermons by rabbi David Shmuel Pardo, his father rabbi Jacob Pardo and rabbi Yosef Marini; occasional poems by various authors, including poems from the 17th century; letters by David Shmuel Pardo and to him; registers and documents from the archives of the community of Verona, fees and certificates from the city of Ragusa, drafts on Halacha and Kabbalah matters by rabbi Shimshon Ḥayim Naḥmani . Also in the archive are three letters by Shmuel Toledano, 1870-1872.

David Shmuel Pardo (Ragusa 1792-Verona 1858). Son of Jacob, rabbi of Ragusa. 1808-1818 hazan and preacher in Ragusa, 1818-1823 in Livorno, 1824-1858 chief rabbi in Verona. דוד שמואל פארדו נולד ברגוזה (דוברובניק, קרואטיה) ב-1792, בנו של יעקב, הרב המקומי. בין השנים 1808-1818 היה שם חזן ודרשן, לצד אביו. בין 1818 לבין 1823 היה רב בליוורנו ולאחר מכן היה רב ראשי בורונה עד מותו ב1858. |
