Biographical summary Hermann Zondek (Wronke 4.9.1887 - Jerusalem 11.7.1979), endocrinologist. In Berlin until 1933, assistant at Charité, assistant profesor at Friedrich Wilhelm University, later director of municipal hospital. 1933/34 emigration to Jerusalem via England. Head of internal medicine at Bikur Holim, professor at the Hebrew University. Gerda Zondek (Landeshut, Lower Silesia, 1907 - Jerusalem 2003), endocrinologist & painter, wife & colleague of Hermann Zondek. MD 1933 Berlin. Bernhard Zondek (Wronke 29.7.1891 - Jerusalem 1966), endocrinologist & geneticist. In Berlin assistant in obstetrics & gynecology at Charité, associate professor at Berlin University, head of obstetrics & gynecology at municipal hospital. In 1933 he emigrated to Palestine, where he became professor and head of endocrine research at HUJI.
