Description
The file contains:;a) a silver medal by O. Roty, diameter 21 mm. On the obverse a bust to left, around the scientist's name, on the right the name of the artist. On the reverse the inscription: Pour la Science, la Patrie, L'Humanite, in the center a torch. On the edge: Argent.;b) a silver medal by O. Roty, diameter 37 mm. Toe obverse similar to a), the artists name on the left side. On the reverse the inscription: Institut Pasteur, MDCCCLXXXVIII, on the left side laurel leaves. On the edge: Argent.;c) two copies of a bronze plaquette by Georges Henri Prud'Homme, 52 x 73 mm. On the obverse a bust to left, above: 1822 1895, below laurel leaves and the scientist's name. On the reverse a classic female figure (Science) sitting aside a table with scientific instruments, below the artist's name. On the edge: Bronze.
