3 pp. 1/8; in-quarto; handwritten in French; Printed heading: Le Commissaire général des relations commerciales en Ligurie;;Letter, written and signed Bodard, Gênes, 4 complémentaire, an 9 [21.9.1801], to Vence, Préfét Maritime in Toulon, unsure if previous dispatches reached him he sends again news from the island of Elba quoting a letter from General Watrin detailing how he forced back a British landing, causing 1200 casualties to the British and taking 200 prisoners.;[General François Watrin 1772-1802]
