Sidney Smith; John Keith; Roussel Monpatri;;Document given by Sidney Smith (Ministre Plénipotentiaire de sa Majesté Britannique près la Porte Ottomane et Chef d'Escadre dans les mers du Levant) and by Order of John Keith, on board the british vessel 'Tigre', near Beirut, 28.11.1799, for the duration of three months, requests all British officers, allies and friendly nations, on sea or land, to give pass to the wounded Roussel Monpatri (officier de l'état-major de l'armée française en Egypte), on his way to France via Cyprus.
