Anonymous halakhic polemic against certain leniencies exercised by ritual slaughterers in Jerusalem. The operative question revolved around the manner of arriving at a determination of whether or not a knife was sufficiently sharp and free of blemishes to be fit for use. The document cites two letters
the first is dated to 1885 and the second to 1891.
