מוזכר גם: שמואל אלקלעי הנתונים מבוססים על מידע משמואל גליק, ראש צוות FGP לשרידי תשובות – מכון שוקן נושאי התשובה: כ"י זה וכ"י T-S 10 J 16.23 הם כנראה טיוטות של שתי תשובות של ר"ד קונפורטי בעניין שרטוט בספרי תורה, תפילין ומזוזות שנעשה מבחוץ (בצד החיצוני של יריעת הקלף). לפי הפתיחה של התשובה השנייה, נראה כי ר"ד קונפורטי התכתב בעניין זה גם עם בנו, ר' גבריאל קונפורטי, אך תשובת הבן לא הגיעה לידינו. מהשרידים שלפנינו קשה לקבוע איזו תשובה נכתבה ראשונה. כמאה שנים לאחר פטירתו של ר"ד קונפורטי נפלו תשובות אלו לידיו של ר' דוד ב"ר רפאל מילדולה, שנטל את התשובות שלפנינו, ערך בהם שינויים, הוסיף או גרע, ושם אותה בכליו והדפיסם משל הוא הנשאל והוא המשיב. המשך ההתכתבות בעניין שרטוט בספרי תורה מופיע בכ"י T-S 10J16.23. התשובה שלפנינו אינה חתומה. היא נכתבה על ניירות מכתבים שהיו בשימוש חוזר בידי ר' גבריאל קונפורטי. כ"י T-S 10J16.23 שהוא המשכה של התשובה, נכתב על נייר מכתבים, שכתב שמואל סידי אל ר' גבריאל קונפורטי. להשלמות ומידע נוסף ראו: שרידי תשובות מחכמי האימפריה העות'מאנית, ב, עמ' 856-844.
