تاليف عبد الله المهتدي الميورقي بن عبد الله (كان اسمه قبل اسلامه سنة 792 هجري/ 1390 انسلمو ترميدا القسيس الفرنسيسي [Fray Anselmo Turmedo]) الترجمان التونسي المتوفى سنة 832 هجري/ 1429، الفه سنة 823 هجري/ 1421 ورتبه على ثلاثة فصول ((في ذكر بلد المؤلف الخ/ و)فــي ابتداء اسلامه الخ، فيــما اتفق له في ايام امير تونس الحفصي ابي العباس وولده الامير ابي فارس عبد العزيز، فــي مقصود الكتاب من الرد على النصارى مرتبا على تسعة ابواب)؛ ان السيد محمد ابو الغيث القشاش التونسي المتوفى سنة 1031 هجري/ 1622 (انظر كحالة، عمر رضا. معجم المؤلفين: تراجم مصنفي الكتب العربية. 15 مجلدا. بيروت، 1376–1381، 163:11) قد نقح بعض الفاظه ثم قدم له مقدمة صغيرة مجددا اسمه "تحفة الاسرار وتاليف الاخيار الانصار في الرد على النصارى [من فرق] الكفار" (ان صيغة "تحية الاسرار" في W. Pertsch. Die orientalischen Handschriften der Herzoglichen Bibliothek zu Gotha: auf Befehl Sr. Hoheit des Herzogs Ernst II von Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha verzeichnet. Gotha, 1859–1893. 8 vols 860 تصحيف "تحفة" بالكتابة المغربية في الاصل المستنسخ منه) واهداه السلطان احمد بن محمد خان آل عثمان (1012-1026 هجري/ 1604-1618). نسخة مشرقية كتبت سنة 1272 هجري/ 1855. اول النسخة بعد البسملة آخر مقدمة ابي غيث في فهرست فصول التحفة:"الفصل الاول في ذكر بلد المولف ... وفيما عمله من احسان ابي عباس المعروف بملاي(!) احمد مالك تونس الغرب من خدام ال عثمان(!) ... الفصل (الثاني) فيما وقع له في ايام ولده ابي الفارس ... الفصل الثالث في مقصود الكتاب الح"؛ ثم اول الكتاب بعينه (صفحة1ب:سطر13):".. قال المولف \رحمه الله\ الحمد لله الذي خصنا بخير الاديان وجعلنا من امة الفرقان ... اما بعد فانه لما من الله علي بالهداية الخ".
