הלחן של לייב גלאנץ ל"שמע ישראל" מתוך חלק ה"קדושה" בתפילת המוסף לשבת, נכתב בשנת 1929 ונחשב לאחת היצירות האחרונות שהלחין גלאנץ בסגנון אשכנזי. בשנים שלאחר מכן, החלו יצירותיו לבטא את ההשפעה והרושם שהותירו בו מפגשיו עם חלוצי הזמר העברי, דוגמת נתן אלתרמן ואברהם שלונסקי ויצירותיו החלו לקבל מאפיינים המקובלים בשירת ולחני יהדות ספרד ואיטליה. |
