A nude young woman seen from the knees up is depicted in the Cubist style. Her figure is comprised of facets and rounded shapes of different shades of blue and white. Her face turns to the front, her body turns slightly to the left and she holds her left hand on her hip as she descends a flight of stairs. She wears a large white Spanish comb in her dark hair which is pulled back. Three thin locks of hair are arranged on the right side of her forehead. Blue steps can be seen through the gap beneath her left arm and there are brown steps in the lower right corner of the composition by her legs. A red zig-zag combined with vertical strips is depicted in the upper right corner and a brown checked pattern is set on the right, next to her bent arm.
