Fol. 1: The text of the Siddur's opening page is written within a double arcade: two arches supported by the capitals of three columns on stepped bases. The arches are decorated with a zig-zag pattern, in brown and red ink, the massive capitals are chequered and have a pinnacle protruding, the columns have various geometrical motifs and the three bases have each a lion passant. The columns and bases are in spared-ground technique in brown ink.
