BookFol. 227v: On top of the first two text columns, the initial word שיר [השירים] "Song [of Songs]", of the first book of the Five Scrolls, which in this Bible comes before EMeT books, is written in display script within a crenellated arch resting on two facing lions' head, their prolonged inner eyebrows intertlaced into a rich palmette scroll. The crenellated arch possibly alluding to the fortified city of Jerusalem.In the lower margin, the title שיר השירים "Song of Songs" is written in display-hallowed-letters decorated on the left by an 8-like motif.
