The white cotton Torah scroll binder is a long narrow cloth composed of four pieces. The cloth bears an inscription and printed illustrations in green,purple,yellow,blue and brown. The inscription is written in square stylized letters and reads: "יעקב בר אורי שרגא נולד במזט )מזל טוב( יום ה יג ניסן תרכז לפק השם יזכהו לגדלו בתורה ולחופה ולמעשים טובים אמן סלה". The illustrations depict hunting scenes:a hunter holding a rifle followed by a running dog,a deer,a bear,a squirrel on top of a tree,musicians holding a flute and a drum,dancing girls,father and son carrying a tied cow. "Ya'qov Bar Uri Shraga born in good luck at Thursday the 13 of April 1867 may God raise him to Torah,Hupah and to good deeds, amen selah".
