Sie widmet sich regionalen Quellen aus Vormärz, Restauration und Kaiserreich und beabsichtigt, eine Brücke zwischen den Darstellungen jüdischer Ortsgeschichte der Frühen Neuzeit und des 20. Jahrhunderts zu schlagen. Dabei eröffnet die Anlage als Quellensammlung eine neue Perspektive, da sie authentische und aussagekräftige Quellen in chronologischer Folge zum Sprechen bringt.
