"ספר שיריו השני של אל”מ יוסי מורג (2019-1952) רואה אור במלאת 30 ימים לפטירתו. עולמו נע בין שני קצוות. מצד אחד, שיריו של לוחם שמקץ עשורים אינו שוכח את הקרב בחווה הסינית, מצד שני, בד בבד עם כתיבת שירה בעלת מודעות פוליטית וחברתית עמוקה, מורג מתגלה כליריקן מעודן שמסרב לוותר על יופיו ורבגוניותו של העולם, או במילותיו: “חַי וּמְחַיֵּךְ עֲדַיִן לְמַרְאֵה עֵץ זָקוּף”. אף שרבים מהשירים נכתבו על רקע קשיים גופניים שהתמודד איתם בשנים האחרונות, שמחת החיים והצבעוניות הרבה גוברות על הקדרות. תמצית תפיסתו הקיומית טמונה, כך נדמה, בשורות מתוך שירו ‘מצבוֹת חיוֹת’: “הַדַּחַף לַהֲפֹךְ עֵצִים/ לְטַפֵּס מֵחָדָשׁ לַצַּמָּרוֹת מוֹבִיל/ לַקָּשָׁה בְּכָל הַמִּלְחָמוֹת…/ רַק אַתָּה יָכוֹל אִם דָּבַקְתָּ בַּחַיִּים”. לצד שירים אלה כלולים בספר שירים על חיפה, עירו האהובה, כמו גם שירי משפחה, שירי דיוקן, שירה ארספואטית, שירי התבוננות ועוד. יוסי הלך לעולמו בטרם הספיק לראות את ספרו כרוך. מי ייתן וצוואותיו הרוחניות מלאות היופי ימצאו להן הד בלבבות קוראיו. רפי וייכרט, יוני 2019". -- מעטפת אחורית.
