"From the land of the Bible" will present specimens of antiquity-including artifacts such as tools, vases, seals and coins as well as sculpture, mosaics and glass-dating from the paleolithic era through the period of the Byzantine Empire. This exhibit, assembled from the collections of the museums of Israel and from other sources, including the results of recent excavations, is designed to show the early history of man in the Land of the Bible. -- cover title verso.
