Memoirs of a Jew born in 1925 in Częstochowa, Poland. Describes the German occupation in 1939, forced labor, and life in the ghetto. His father was taken with the first deportation in September 1942; his mother went into hiding in various places, and then disappeared during the liquidation of the ghetto in June 1943. Wodzisławski and his brother, Yechiel Henryk (1923-2004), worked in the ghetto until its liquidation, and then at the HASAG factory nearby. In summer 1944 they escaped from the HASAG camp and went into hiding with Polish families until the liberation. They emigrated to Eretz Israel in 1946. Pp. 60-86 contain excerpts from a diary written by Yechiel Henryk during the war.
