Includes Reuchlin's comments on his controversy with Pfefferkorn; an account by the editor on confiscation of the Talmud in Frankfurt during this affair; a sermon of 1660 by a Protestant pastor against Jewish physicians; Ludwig Börne's comments on repeal of the rights granted the Jews by Napoleon, and contemporary accounts of "Kristallnacht" and of the activities of two Nazi racial research institutes in Frankfurt.
