A history of the synagogue in Offenbach. Pp. 25-33, "Verfolgung der jüdischen Gemeinde durch die Nationalsozialisten", and pp. 34-37, "Die Vernichtung", contain facsimiles of newspaper articles, documents, and eyewitness accounts by Jews and sympathetic non-Jews about the boycott, Nazi demonstrations, "Kristallnacht, " and the deportation of Offenbach's Jews in September 1942. The synagogue, which was vandalized but not destroyed, was turned by the Nazis into a theater.
