Enlarge text Shrink text

Includes descriptions of the murder of Jews and pogroms which took place after the war, especially the pogrom at Kielce, 4 July 1946 (pp. 34-41) where 47 Jews were killed and 50 wounded. Discusses Stalin's antisemitic campaign between 1948-53 and its impact in Poland, where antisemitism was used as a tool by political factions until 1967-68, when the anti-Jewish and anti-Zionist campaign came to a head and most remaining Jews were "expelled" from Poland.
