Identifies the Jewish victims of the Shoah in Haut-Rhin. Pp. 177-314 present a list of 1,100 Jews, who were born in Haut-Rhin or lived there at the time of World War II, and were deported or shot by the Germans. The list includes the victims' dates and places of birth (65 were born in Haute-Rhin); the names of their parents, spouses, and children; their adresses before and during the war; and the dates of their deportations and numbers of the convoys. Ca. 50 testimonies, stories, and documents, on pp. 25-175, shed light on the victims' lives.
