Hella Chaja Bialer (Rabinowitsch) was born 01/28/1911 in Warsaw. Her family moved to Berlin in 1914, where she later attended a “Lyzeum” (grammar school for girls), special shorthand and typing classes. In 1933 she emigrated to Russia and worked as a secretary. In 1937 she was arrested and did forced labor in Siberia. In 1947 she was sent to Latvia, worked in a sanatorium. In 1951/52 again forced labor in Siberia, by then she worked in agriculture. In 1956, after her release she returned to Moscow and worked in a publishing house.
