Born in 1912 in town of Bibolar, Romania. Studied at trade school in Iasi. Active in Noar Hatzioni movement. Outbreak of World War II worked as clerk in glass factory, supplying German army. In June 1947 left Romania illegally and crossed border to Transylvania. Moved to Debrecen in Hungary, then to Budapest, then to Rothschild hospital in Vienna, then to Shatmer displaced persons camp in American zone in Austria. All wanderings together with group of children in framework of Beriha. In August 1947 moved to Vogshied camp for a 11/2 years where active in central committee of Haoved Hatzioni movement. Well known figure among Romanian Jewry. Aliya in October 1948.
