Born 1920 Smolensk, Russia. Studied in polytechnic institute in Leningrad. Worked as engineer in ship factory. Arrested 1945 for anti-Soviet propaganda and sentenced to ten years in labor camp. Situation in labor camp. Freed in 1955, continued to work as engineer. Influence of Communist party in all his workplaces. Aliya 1975 with family.
