UNED Born in Warsaw, 1909. Philology studies at university. Relocation to ghetto during the war and going out to work every morning in Schultz factory on Aryan side. Polish co-workers helping her find hiding place for her daughter and two nephews. Herself relocated to Aryan side and finding a place to live where other Jews were also hidden. Staying there until 1944. Taking part in Polish uprising. Finally all transfered to Essen, Germany, where they built baricades for the German Army. After the war trying to return to Warsaw to find the children, which was not easy since city was under communist rule. Eventually finding out that children were relocated to childrens' house in Otwock due to difficulties and hunger. Old woman with whom her child stayed during the war visiting childrens' house regularly but despite being very much attached to child helping interviewee get her back. Daughter technician in Warsaw Radio. Mother and daughter immigrating to Israel. Daughter not absorbed and emigrated to Koln, Germany.
