Rescue of children from Germany, Austria and Czechoslovakia through Sweden; Youth Aliyah institutions in Sweden; care for children brought from Denmark; attitude of the Jewish organizations in Sweden during the War; the problem of allocating certificates; transfer of children from Ravensbruck and Bergen-Belsen to Sweden during the War; the transfer of the Kovno children. Coming fron Hamburg to Sweden on her way to Eretz Israel. Active in Rescue of children and youths there, and thus her immigration detained for sevn years. Relatives and acquaintances of children turning to them to relocate children from Germany, Austria, Czechia to Sweden. Children first put in foster families, but when demand increased three children's houses of Youth Aliya established for 600 children on their way to Eretz Israel. 270 children eventually emigrating to Israel, others relocated to other countries to reunite with their families and the rest remained in Sweden. Heads of Jewish community in Stockholm at first reserved in their attitude towards the rescue operation and towards Zionism. Some feard antisemitism and some simply did not understand how big the danger of Nazism. When Denmark and Norway occupied things becoming more familiar and attitude changed. Apart from Jewish community and Youth Aliya two Christian organizations (Israel Mission) acting to rescue children. These helping to relocate 110 children to Sweden, but mainly handling mixed families. Contacts with children from ; Kovno, Ravensbrueck and Bergen-Belsen, that all arrangements concerning them were made through Belgium that was neutral. Swedish documents of Stockholm Jewish community about rescue operations in 1933-1950.
