Born in Sokolow Podlaski, Poland, 1919. Member of Hashomer Htzair. Hakhsharah in Rivne, Ukraine, 1938. Authorization to immigrate to Israel recieved on day of German occupation of Poland. Fleeing to Russia with family. Exile to labor camp. Released in Bukhara, 1942. Settling in a kolkhoz. Underground activities of Hashomer Hatzair there including forging documents. Contacts with Hehalutz movement. Brothers not using opportunity to join Anders Army. Hiding friends in their home. Exchange of letters and food parcels with other countries. Returning to Poland in small groups carrying false identifying documents. Movement conference held in Bratislava. Tutor at youth establishment in Italy. Refugee ships leaving from Italy. Immigration to Israel with husband, 1948.
