Hebrew University employee in the 1940s. Charge of the armoury, Mount Scopus ("Slikim") and the transference of arms from the mountain to other parts of the city. Fortification of the mountain and the area of Hadassa Hospital, with surrounding mines. Preparation of food supplies and purchasing of arms and ammunition from an Arab supplier. Different weapons used on the mountain. Responsible for workers and students' guard duties. Participation, as Commander of Sector C (in accordance with the directives of the Hagana), in experiments carried out by physicists and chemists in the development of new weaponary. Yoel Melkov, Commander of Mount Scopus. Failure of Jewish attack on Augusta Victoria. Attacks on Wadi Joz. Attempt to blow up Mufti's house. Communal life and the atmosphere on the mountain. Attack on convoy to Mount Scopus. Leaving the mountain and handing it over to the administration of the United Nations.
