Born in Sploosh (Carpathian Russia). Activity and leadership in Hashomer Hatzair. Experiences in Hungarian army work camp. Escape and hiding in a unit of Hungarian Communists, and later in Budapest. Working out of the "Glass House" in Budapest producing forged papers and documents. Describes youth movement work saving Jewish children in 1944 and the disappointment at cruelty of Russians after they entered Budapest. Account of the moving of the children's house from Budapest to Bachshetzva and back, and how children left Austria and Germany on their way to Israel on the ship "Exodus".
