Biographical summary ישעיהו אביעד-וולפסברג נולד בהמבורג ב-1893. בגיל 18 החל ללמוד ביולוגיה ורפואה ובמלחמת העולם הראשונה התגייס כרופא בצבא גרמניה בחזית המזרחית. בסיום המלחמה עבר לברלין ועבד שם כרופא ילדים, במקביל לפעילותו בתנועת המזרחי ועריכת עיתונה Die Jüdische Presse. עלה ארצה עם עליית הנאצים ב-1933, שם המשיך לפעול במוסדות "המזרחי" והיישוב הציוני, ואף היה ממקימי כפר הנוער הדתי ב-1938. היה הנציג הדיפלומטי הראשון של ישראל בארצות הסקנדינביות, ונשלח כציר לשוויץ, שם נפטר ב-1957.
