They are standing in a horizontal row, in a photographic pose, and seem ready to leave their city with all their belongings. Two men are sitting on horses yet and another one on a donkey. The written date on the stamp '1908' refers to the time when Algeria conquered a part of the Moroccan territory and this family probably preferred to take refuge in the French side.
