בכה"י: "תשובה שאלה לר' האיי גאון ז"ל" הטכסט נתחבר אחרי מסעי הצלב הראשונים, כלשון המחבר: "לפיכך כשאנו רואים [ש]שלטה אדום בארץ ישראל אנחנו מאמינים שתחלת ישועתינו". לא יתכן שרב האי חיבר טכסט זה, שהרי הוא נפטר כמה עשרות שנים קודם למסעי הצלב. י' מאן שעמד על משמעות דברים אלו בהקשר למסעי הצלב, מדגיש שהמחבר הוא ר' האיי, ראה: י' מאנן, התנועות המשיחיות בימי שלשת מסעי הצלב הראשונים, התקופה, כג (תרפ"ה), עמ' 247-248. נושא נוסף: פילוסופיה יהודית נושא נוסף: גאולה Columbia University Library New York, NY USA Ms. X 893 M 6865 קולופון (דף 7ב): "הועתק על ידי הצעיר אברהם בש"ן". |
