MS has been trimmed. Margins: 23, 40, 23, 30 mm. Ruling in lead point. Bounding lines: 1 and 1 vert., in lead point. Text space: 245 x 167 mm. 1 col., 9 lines, square notation on 4-line, red staves, written in brown, and dark brown ink, set below top line, one hand. Some later marginal additions. Foliation is modern, in grey pencil in the right upper corner. Collation: I-XVIII8, XIX10, XX-XXXIII8 Decoration: 22 historiated initials. 4-22 lines pained and alternatively blue and red initials with red and blue penwork, red rubrics. Binding: 336 x 246 mm. 16th cen. brown leather with blind tooled decorative ornament, over wooden boards, sewn on 5 double thongs. Rebacked spine. Heavy metal fittings and bosses. Remnants of clasps. |
