סדר הספרים של תורה ונביאים הוא לפי הסדר שנתקבל לימים בדפוסים. סדר כתובים שונה מהמקובל וגם אינו תואם לסדר המפורט במסכת בבא בתרא (יד, ב), והוא: דה"י, רות, תהלים, איוב, משלי, שה"ש, קהלת, איכה, אסתר, דניאל, עזרא ונחמיה. כתר דמשק בתחילת הספר ובסופו, וכן בין שלושת חלקי התנ"ך, מצויים דפי "שטיח" צבעוניים, שקווי המיתאר שלהם כתובים במיקרוגרפיה ויוצרים תשלובות של מוטיבים מעולם הצומח וצורות גיאומטריות. ציוני הסדרים (ס') והפרשיות (פרש') מעוטרים בזהב ובצבעים וקצתם אף מעוצבים כאילוסטרציות לטכסט (137א, 153ב, 248א, 252ב ועוד). כה"י הגיע לדמשק בזמן מן הזמנים, ומכאן כינויו "כתר דמשק". הוא נשמר בבהכ"נ של מגרש חוש אלבאשא אלענאבי, שם ראו אותו א"א הרכבי בשנת תרמ"ו ואבינועם ילין בשנת תרע"ט. בשנת תשכ"ב נמכר כה"י במכירה פומבית בלונדון, ובה בשנה נרכש למען בית הספרים הלאומי והאוניברסיטאי בסיועם של "קרן התרבות אמריקה-ישראל" ושל מר נ"ז ויליאמס מירושלים. לפי התיאור שמסר ילין בשעתו, היו בכה"י 429 דף. ואכן, דף "שטיח" אחד מסוף כה"י, נמכר ביוני 1987 ע"י "סותביס" בלונדון, ונמצא כיום ב-MUSEO SEFARADI בטולידו. לינק לסריקה של הדף ההוא נמצא למטה. נושא נוסף: מקרא תנ"ך נושא נוסף: ציורים. מסגרות מצוירות נושא נוסף: ציורים. מיקרוגרפיה The National Library of Israel Jerusalem Israel Ms. Heb. 790=24 The Sephardic Museum Toledo Spain קלף שלושה טורים בעמוד, חוץ ממשלי איוב ותהלים, שהם בשני טורים לעמוד. המסורה הגדולה כתובה בקישוטי מיקרוגרפיה, וטכסט המסורה בין חלקי התנ"ך בצורת "שטיחים". קולופון (426ב): "אני מנחם בר' אברהם ן' מאלך נ"ע כתבתי אלו עשרים וארבעה אל היקר הנכבד ... ר' יצחק בן כבוד החכם ... ר' אברהם שצ"ו חדאד וסיימתים ביום שני שבעה עשר יום לירח אדר שנת חמשת אלפים ועשרים לבריאת עולם בברגש ..." |
