הספר נסרק במסגרת פרויקט 450 שנה לספר העברי עם רשימת המקובלים המופיעים בספר והערות של ג"ש ג"ש: חסר חצי פרק ל שהושמט בכוונה (ד' לד ע"א). רבני פרנקפורט התנגדו להוצאת הספר בשנת תמ"ב. עיין: הורביץ, FRANKFURTER RABBINEN, כרך ב, ע' 54. (על פי פנקס הקהילה). המביא לדפוס עזב את העיר והוציאו לאור בהיותו רב בקהילת אדשטיין ונראה שהוסיף שער חדש ולא יותר. ר' דוד אופנהיים שילם למהדיר, ר' דוד גרינהוט (שהיה אז בהנובר) חצי פלורין על ספר זה בשנת תמ"ו או תמ"ז (454 (A. MARX, REJ, LXXXII, P. עותק 942 באוסף ג' שלום בלי שער. עותק 6 כרוך עמו: גלגולי נשמות -- פרנקפורט דאדרה [תס"ב]. (בלי שער) 942 |
