Notes מסגרת השער של הספר היתה בשימוש אצל המדפיסים עמנואל בנבנישתי ואורי פייבוש הלוי, שניהם באמשטרדם. אולם ציור שנדפס בראש השער, שאמור להיות דגל-המדפיס, אינו של אחד משני המדפיסים הללו. אברהם יערי מצא רישום של הספר בקטלוג של חנות הספרים של המדפיס מנשה בן ישראל, והוא משער שהספר נדפס על ידו. הציור, להשערתו, הוא דגל של משפחת אברבנאל, שאשתו של מנשה יצאה ממנה. עיין: א. יערי, מחקרי ספר, ירושלים תשי"ח, עמוד 440 הערה 25.

ראינו טופס עם נוסח שער שונה: "פירוש על נביאים אחרונים שחבר הרב... דון יצחק בן... יהודה אברבנאל, אשר זה כמה שנים נדפסו פעם אחד... ויקיים בנו מקרא שכתוב ומלאה הארץ דעה את ה'...". שנת הדפוס אינה מופיעה כאן והמלה "את" לא הודגשה. יש טפסים בהם גם שער שלישי, בלאטינית. טופס כזה נרשם על ידי רוסט, עמוד 193:
