"עלמה לא בטוחה מה גרם לה להסכים. אולי ההזדמנות שנקרתה לפתחה היתה דרך מילוט ממערכת היחסים המייגעת שהיא וגדי לכודים בה כבר זמן רב. אולי היו אלה חשבונות החשמל המצטברים, והשגרה, ואולי בכלל נמאס לה להיות לבושה כל הזמן. הרי גדי כבר אינו מחכה בשקיקה לרגע בו תפשוט את בגדיה, אז אולי תעשה את זה בשביל המצלמה. עלמה אוהבת צילום. היא אוהבת את הרגע שבו המציאות קופאת, מספרת סיפור שיכול היה לקרות ואולי בכלל לא. היא אוהבת את התחושה של גופה העירום מול האור המסנוור. עלמה חושפת ונחשפת לעולם פתלתל, מפחיד ומפוקפק. עולם שמנצל נשים, נערות, וילדות. עולם שהיה קיים כל הזמן ממש לידה, באוניברסיטה, בבר, בגינת המשחקים, ואינו חדל מלהתקיים. והעולם הזה הוא בלתי נראה עד שצועדים לתוכו. גל שגיא מתחקה אחר ההתרחשות תוך גיחות לחיי הילדות וההתבגרות של עלמה, ושוזרת את סיפורה של הילדה תמר, מעין בבואה של עלמה, שנכנסת לאותו עולם דרך פתח אחר." -- מן המעטפת האחורית.
