A textbook for high school students, focusing on various aspects of religious life in the Kovno ghetto. Pp. 14-24 contain background material on the Jewish community and ghetto of Kovno, as well as a chronology of events in 1941-44. The rest of the book contains 18 sections, which include photographs from the ghetto, excerpts from eyewitness testimonies, halakhic questions asked by Jews and answers given by Rabbi Avraham Dov Ber Shapira, and questions and topics for discussion.
