"פעמיים איתמר" הוא רומן מתח רחב יריעה העוסק בגוונים שונים של חיינו - אהבות נעורים שובות-לב לנגד בגידות אסורות, אירוטיקה מענגת אל מול יצרים מתלהטים המנתצים כל חלקה טובה ומוליכים למשטמה עזה שאינה שוככת במשך שנות דור. פרקי הספר הם סאגה מרתקת המתארת קורותיה של משפחה ישראלית אחת, משנות החמישים ועד סמוך לנעילת המילניום. שני האיתמרים, אב ובנו, לא זכו מעולם להכיר זה את זה. מנערותו, כתלמיד בבית הספר 'אליאנס' ברמת-אביב, היה איתמר הבן אחוז תזזית שלא הרפתה ממנו ששומה עליו לפענח חידה משפחתית כואבת הקשורה בגורלו הטראגי של אביו, שהעיבה קשות על חייו. בשל מסך עשן סביב לפרשה הקודרת, לא היה בידיו אפילו קצה חוט. רעיונות מקוריים, מפתיעים, לצד ליבן ומיטתן של נשים מספר, סייעו לו לחדור מבעד לקשר השתיקה, אף כי נאלץ להסתכן בעת ניסיונותיו לפתור את התשבץ אפוף המיסתורין. העלילה הסוחפת המתפתחת בעקבות אירוע בטחוני ביש-מול משתרגת גם מעבר לתחומי ארצנו, והיא גדושה אירועים והפתעות, עד לעמוד האחרון שבספר.
