قد تقدم ذكر شاهنامه فردوسي، اختصره نثرا توكل ولد تولك بيك سنة 1063 هجري/ 1653 بامر حاكم غزني شمشيرخان فاشتهر بـ[تاريخ] شمشيرخانى. نسخة هندية مزوقة كتبت سنة 1815 هندية (= 1170 هـجري/ 1756 ميلادي)؛ 121 ورقة هندية، 190:332 ملم. أول النسخة:"حمد بيغايت وثنائى بي نهايت مر حضرت كبرياى واجب الوجودى را الخ". صفحة 119ب-121أ: كلام في مناسبات تأليف شاهنامة؛ بخط مغاير. Khulāṣa-yi Shāh-nāma Prose epitome of Firdawsī’s poem, prepared by Tawakkul b. Tūlak Beg Bey in 1063/1653 at the order of the governor of Ghazna, Shamshīr Khān and published as Tārīkh-i Shamshīr Khānī. Illuminated Indian MS, copied in 1815 of the Indian reckoning (= 1170/1756). 121 leaves Indian paper, 190×332 mm quaternion quires numbered in their centers 19 lines 24 miniatures.
