Helga's diary

Helga's Diary is a young girl's remarkable first-hand account of life in the Terezin concentration camp during World War II. The drawings and paintings that Helga made during her time in Terezin, which accompany this diary, were published in 1998 in the book Draw What You See (Zeichne, was Du siehst). ; Translated from the original notebooks, written in Czech. Pp. 13-21 contain the introduction by Francine Prose. Pp. 207-234 contain an interview with Weiss conducted by her translator Neil Bermel in Prague in December 2011.
