The anti-Jewish operation was carried out quickly, with Hungarian acquiescence and collaboration. States that the Vatican tried to protest against the deportation of Jews from Hungary. Mentions rescue efforts by Kasztner and his aides, as well as by Wallenberg, Lutz, and Perlasca.
