Erinnerung

A history of the persecution of Jews in Düren between 1933-45, accompanied by numerous photographs, facsimiles of documents and newspaper items, and lists of names and other information. Deals with the boycott, the Nuremberg Laws, the exclusion of Jews from professions and trades, the "Kristallnacht" pogrom, arrests and deportations to Buchenwald, Aryanization of Jewish enterprises, deprivation of rights, deportation to concentration camps and annihilation. Pp. 118-124 contain an alphabetical list of the victims; pp. 127-179 relate the fate of survivors; pp. 181-221 contain a list of all the Jews who lived in Düren between 1933-45.
