The catalog contains photographs of many of the items in the exhibition, and detailed explanations of the context of every one of the over 357 items; each topic is also introduced by a brief essay. A few items concern antisemitism and anti-Jewish regulations of the authorities in the 18th-19th centuries and in the Weimar period. Pp. 429-501, "Entrechtung, Beraubung, Vertreibung und Mord im NS-Staat", describe the persecutions during the Nazi period. Pp. 503-521, "Not der Überlebenden", document the lack of sympathy for the survivors shown both by Germans and by the British occupation authorities.
