The section "Der Ewige Jude" (pp. 20-90) deals with the treatment of the theme of the wandering Jew by three writers - Eugène Sue, Alexandre Dumas, and Paul Féval. Pp. 81-90 describe other novels on this theme which were explicitly antisemitic. Notes that the legend arose in the beginning of the 17th century in France and Germany, and was not known earlier.
